EIMCO 911B
This hardworking production and utility LHD is designed to fit into and work in some of the tightest spaces in underground mines. Weighing 10,000 pounds and only 54″ wide, the 911B has a heaped bucket capacity of one cubic yard and can tram 5,000 pounds. It is powered by a Deutz F4L912W air-cooled diesel engine with an MSHA Part 8 particulate index of 3,500 CFM. The Sundstrand hydrostatic transmission lets the 911B compete with larger machines on steep grades at lower cost, with the added safety benefit of passive retarding to reduce service brake wear. Our 911B is equipped with an EIMCO-built water exhaust scrubber to reduce particulate matter and exhaust temperature. Complete parts and service manuals will be furnished along with the rental.

5-Ton Young Buggy
The newest member of our fleet, this handy five-ton truck from Young’s Machine Company combines the handling of an articulated truck with the simplicity and durability of a rigid truck. Young’s has been building these buggies since 1953 and enthusiastically supports them. Our buggy was retrofitted with a full roll cage (ROPS) in 2007; it provides an additional level of operator safety over the “headache bar” typically seen on older underground trucks. It is compatible with EIMCO 911 and Wagner HST-1A LHDs by three-pass loading; such a combination is an excellent low-cost haulage solution. 2-yard-class LHDs will offer two-pass loading. This particular truck is powered by a Deutz F4L912W air-cooled diesel like our 911B, presenting an outstanding opportunity to streamline spares and consumables inventory. Like our 911B, it is also fitted with a water scrubber and has an MSHA particulate rate of 3,500 CFM.
